Smell alone will tell you that this is an earl grey tea! As soon as the top of the canister is open wafts of citrus come right at you. It smells wonderful! The dried tea leaves are a rich black color and some of them are pretty big. As this tea steeps you can start to smell the black tea mingle with the bergamot scent. Just lovely. As for taste, this tea hits the mark. It’s a strong black tea without bitterness and the bergamot is right there with it. The two are matched, equal, instead of one out shining the other. This classic combination is done so well in this tea blend.
Give this tea a try if you, like me, are forever in search of the perfect earl grey tea. You might well find it here.
