I love the way this tea smells, when it’s dry and as it steeps. It has a wonderful roasty-toasty aroma that reminds me of delicious foods like chocolate and roasted nuts. Eastern Beauty from Green Terrace fits the bill for a traditional oolong in taste, but has its own uniqueness too. There’s enjoyable depth of flavor, dry at the front and ending with an earthy, slightly sweet floral, honey finish. A good oolong tea is great for the cold weather because it has a full body, hearty taste and a warming quality to it – almost like drinking this tea gives you the feeling of warming up by a wood-stove or fireplace.
If you are looking for something to warm up with this winter and you think that “pumpkin spices” things have jumped the shark, give this tasty oolong a try!
Taste: 4 of 5 leaves – Quite a good cuppa!
Steepability: 4 of 5 leaves — this tea requires very little effort.
