A classic dessert tea, Spice and Tea change Black Chocolate is a tasty treat. It is a blend of keemun tea and chocolate essence.  I’m not sure what chocolate essence is, but it tastes good. The keemun provides a base of light sweet, earthy black tea flavor with hints of smoke. The chocolate flavor adds another dimension to the cup. Put it all together and you have a chocolate tea that doesn’t just taste like chocolate. Easy to make and easy to drink, it makes for a quick snack to satisfy a tea lover’s sweet tooth.

If you like black tea blends on the sweet side and you aren’t too scrupulous about the ingredients in your tea, this tea could be a good choice! I enjoyed trying it and you may too.

If hot chocolate & tea got married and had a baby it would be this tea. With strong notes of both tea & chocolate this tea has a really overall flavor. I wanted to know what gave it such a delicious chocolate taste but the ingredients just say “chocolate favoring.” For this reason I suspect there to be artificial chocolate flavor which is the reason I’m giving this tea a 3 instead if a 4. Still very tasty, but I like tea companies who give a less vague ingredient list. This would be a great choice for a hot cocoa lover on a diet! Also, coconut milk creamer has just a slight coconut taste but it was quite good with this tea!
