Because I am not a coffee drinker, I am often jealous when others have hazelnut flavored coffee, because it smells so good.  After many attempts to try it, thinking that maybe I would like, I have learned that I love the aroma but I don’t like the taste. So obviously when Katie gave me this tea to try I was so excited to FINALLY be able to enjoy the aroma of hazelnut with tea instead of coffee!  How perfect.

I really enjoyed this tea.  Typically I am a “nothing added” gal when it comes to tea, so at first I didn’t add anything.  It was good. The ceylon tea and hazelnut give it a nice nutty flavor with just a hint of sweetness.  Then, as recommended I tried it with milk and honey added.  Annnnd… I like it even more!  Adding the milk and honey gave this tea a little more sweetness and made it wonderfully creamy.  It was all that I was hoping for it to be!

Hazelnut Cookie Tea, how could I not try this? The name sounded too good to be true and it smelled amazing so obviously I had to buy some. I also bought some other teas so look out for more tea exchange reviews! So yeah, I needed more tea in my overflowing cabinet as much as my husband needs more Boston sports t-shirts — so of course I indulged. 😉

I have to say, I’m glad I did! This is a very tasty black tea and delicious with milk & honey. My favorite way to drink black tea is with a touch a sweet & milk/cream so this is an excellent choice for anyone who agrees. The hazelnut flavor is subtle, nice but not overpowering, and I will certainly enjoy this in my regular tea rotation.
