This green and ginseng blend is a staple in my tea box.  It is pretty easy to drink and provides that sometimes needed kick from the caffeine in the green tea blended with ginseng.  I like the way this tea smells as it steeps.  It has a nice subtle citrus aroma that draws you in.  This tea is great for anyone looking to branch out into different kinds of green tea blends or for those looking to find an energy blast somewhere other than black tea.  As always with green teas,  be careful not to over-steep – this tea will get bitter.

This is a good basic every-day green tea. The ginseng adds a nice twist but is in no way overpowering. I will say that this tea has a very light and delicate flavor. Don’t add too much honey. A teaspoon was a bit too much and started to over-power the tea. I think this one follows the rule that the smaller the leaves the less flavorful the tea. While this tea doesn’t pack a strong punch I’ll keep it in my tea box for when I’m just looking for a light green tea taste. This would be good with almost any meal. As Abby warned don’t over-steep! Although the flavor is light, just like with any other green tea,  steep too long and it will leave a bitter taste in your mouth. (Yes, pun intended)
